About Awareness Work
ABOUT AWARENESS WORKÂ
A holistic, depth-oriented approach to lasting transformationÂ
Awareness Work is a structured therapeutic modality developed over more than 30 years by psychotherapist Lisa Darveniza. It creates lasting change through compassionate self-awareness and the resolution of core emotional patterns.
A simple but profound foundationÂ
Beneath our conditioning lies a natural state of clarity, resilience, and inherent goodness. Over time, protective patterns formed through life experience can limit our relationships, wellbeing, and sense of self.
Awareness Work brings these unconscious patterns into awareness so they can be understood, resolved, and transformed – allowing greater emotional freedom, healthier relationships, inner stability, and a more authentic connection to yourself and your life.
Change is not forced. As unconscious dynamics become conscious and emotional wounds are gently resolved, a more authentic and grounded way of being emerges organically through awareness, insight, and integration.
A deeply integrated body of workÂ
Awareness Work integrates psychotherapy, somatic awareness, parts work, mindfulness, Eastern contemplative traditions, and cross-cultural healing approaches into a highly effective therapeutic process – shaped through decades of clinical practice, global apprenticeship, and more than 12,000 individual therapy sessions.
What to expectÂ
Awareness Work is facilitated conversation – online via Zoom, in either a one-on-one or small group format. Together we gently unearth the feelings, ideas, old experiences, and stuck emotions that stop your growth and positive alignment. This happens through conversation, learning, and the release of feelings – leading to the discovery of more of who you really are. It is an exploration of your inner landscape made concrete and clear, so that what has felt murky or stuck begins to make sense and shift.
Â
How the work is experiencedÂ
We offer Awareness Work through our 6 Month Therapy Course and Individual Therapy sessions with our qualified team of therapists. This is live, relational work – not pre-recorded – allowing for real-time engagement, personalised support, and meaningful therapeutic depth
Awareness Work is also a university placement partner, providing high-quality clinical training for counselling and psychotherapy students from diploma to masters level.
For many, this becomes more than a course – it becomes a lifelong orientation.
